A break

I haven't written for awhile or updated any projects. After seeking God in the decision of what direction do I go. Hearing from him is great and assuring even if it meant that I had to put to rest of continuing with the retail business of scrapbooking. I love to make things and don't feel that is what I should stop doing. In that area I am just taking a break. I decided not to do the craft show that I have done for the last 3 years. I'm ok with that yet part of me feels a little sad. I really do enjoy the connection with others and that the reward for me was that others enjoyed my product. Last year many had said they looked for me. How touched I had felt. I rely to much on others helping me feel important. I believe that was what God showed me. Not relying on others to make me feel good but being confident in myself. It's still comforting to hear others kind words. I enjoy it and want to show the creativity and who has blessed me....God. He is the one who has given me the gift.
Maybe next year I will go back to the craft shows. I will continue to seek and maybe there are other plans for my creations. Right now it will be Etsy. I can do it at my pace and when time allows. I would like to continue adding and sharing with you my creations and ideas and thoughts. It just will be a slow start.

I can not believe it's May tomorrow! School is almost out and things are getting busier. Trying to wrap up projects inside so that projects can be finished and started outside.
My time has been spent keeping kids well. The flu went through the family and I was blessed to stay clear from it. Than my daughter got pink eye and a week later found a deer tick buried into the back of her scalp. That brought us to the clinic to get the remainder of the tick out that we couldn't. Let me tell you strong-willed girl!!! Now my poor husband has pink eye and poison ivy. At least the rest of us are healthy.
I have been busy trying to get some cards made to put into Craiglow's Cake Kingdom. Time is not on my side. I will post some of my new creations tomorrow. I have a mile long to do list and I will be pleased if I am able to at least 3 things on there!!!
I am also trying to get this blog more friendly to my using. How do I do that I have no idea. I don't feel the most educated when I try to tackle these things independently. So keep watch for new creations. My focus is to include more to inspire you to get creating! Happy Spring!!

Petals for You

Introducing a new site for my handmade gifts. I will be using my current site, Pik a Petal on Etsy, for scrapbooking store online. Transfering my handmade items over to a seperate site now being called "Petals for You", I used Petals to keep the connection with Pik a Petal. In my announcement on Etsy you will see the link to Petals for You. I will be working on getting the scrapbook items on there today, which my little 4 year old helper will control my time being spent!!
I am really looking forward to what God has for me in this new step!

Etsy website update!

Here are some of the sets that I have put together.

I have been working on the scrapbook supplies and putting many kits together. They will be available on Etsy. Etsy is where I also have available for sale my hand made items. The sets that I have been putting together is coordinating paper sets with coordinating embellishments to go along with them. Many of the sets will give you 2-4 pages for your scrapbook and can be used to make cards or other treasures to create!!

I have taken pictures of the set and will be working on uploading them to Etsy. Will keep you posted!
